Esther Back is primarily a singer and violinist from the Philadelphia area who loves working with students of all ages! She has been studying music for 16 years, including attaining an Associates Degree in music from Anne Arundel Community College and finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Music at Temple University.
Esther offers a wide variety of different music genres and different instruments including classical and non classical training in voice, violin, and piano. Her pop influences include, but are not limited to, Regina Spektor, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga.
In her teaching, she tries very hard to make the student feel comfortable, inspired, and fulfilled. Esther wants her students to be able to see their progress after each lesson so she focuses on enhancing what the student is doing correctly and then working out the kinks.
In Esther’s lessons, you can expect to learn how to use proper technique to get the pop and/or classical style that the student wants. I like to tell my students anything can be accomplished with a little bit of practice.
Esther’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing progress and being able to create music with students, she believes strongly that students should feel excited and inspired after every lesson.
Esther has experience playing violin in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and rock bands. She also has experience singing in choir, operas, and rock bands. She looks forward to making music with you and hopes that you do too!
